KISAN MELA REPORT 3RD DAY

KISAN MELA





Today was the third day of Kisan Mela and the organization of various activities at CHETNA stall went successfully.

The students from AASTHA PUBLIC SCHOOL, SHIVNAGAR,(RUDRAPUR) participated in Break the pyramid and three children Ravi, Rahul, Ajay won the Prizes. The total 27 students from the school participated in the game. The children were from 2nd std. to 7th std .

Apart from this children form various local region visited the stall throughout the day and enjoyed various games like tower building, musical chair, ring throw, bindi applying.

The winners were awarded with the exciting prizes and the participants were given consolation prizes.


It was made sure by the organization that the students who participated were from weaker section of society and were from government schools.
In nutshell, the whole planning went accordingly and was great experience.

On the second day of KISAN MELA CHETNA (Childhood Enhancement through Training and Action) student wing organized various games and activities for children.
The students from various schools of local area like Campus School, BAL Nilyam, Primary Badi Market, Primary Choti Market,
and Primary Phoolbagh Centre participated in various games and activities like Break the Pyramid, Ring Throw, Musical Chair. The total no of students visited in the stall was 150.
Apart from this children from other nearby areas visited the stall throughout the day. The winners of various games and activities were awarded with the exciting prizes and all the participants were awarded with gifts and consolation prizes.
Mainly, students who were participated in various activities were form poorer and weaker section and were from primary schools.
Various dignitaries visited the stall throughout the day. Dr. Randhir, Dentist (in internship) from Shri Ram Murthi Smarak Medical College visited the stall and took an initiative to help in the future for organizing any health camp for children by CHETNA

85th Kisan Mela “KRISHI KUMBH” started on 3rd March 2009 and a stall was taken by CHETNA student wing (CHILDHOOD ENHANCEMENT THROUGH TRAINING AND ACTION), PANTNAGAR for display the creativity of children and to organize various games and activities for them.
At 7.30 a.m. all the members of CHETNA student wing assembled to arrange the stall. Various charts, posters depicting the objectives, aims, and activities of CHETNA were put up for display. Various books and folders of CHETNA were also put for display.
Inauguration of the stall was done by the Chief Guest Dr. Kamlesh Shukla, member of university board, Dr. K.R.Kannaujiya, Director Extension Education and Dr. A.K.Karnataka, Dean Student Welfare at 13:00 hrs.
Various activities and games like Poem Recitation, Bindi applying competition, ring throw, break the pyramid were organized by the CHETNA members. Winners of various games and activities were awarded by gifts and participants were given consolation prizes.
At 14.30 hrs. The hon’ble vice chancellor Dr. B.S.Bisht, G.B.P.U.Ag and Tech, Pantnagar visit the CHETNA stall and a brief introduction of CHETNA’s objectives and aims was given to him by Deepak Pandey, President CHETNA. Vice Chancellor appreciated the work and objectives.
At 17.30 hrs Dr. A.K.Upadhyay, staff counselor of CHETNA visits the stall and supervised the work. The total no. of students visited the stall was around 50, mainly from rural areas and primary schools. All the participants were given prizes and gifts.
